Everyone responds to allergies differently, with reactions ranging from mild to severe.

Allergies can be caused by a range of factors, including dust, grass, pollen, food or a reaction to certain products.

If you’re experiencing an allergy that is having a negative impact on your everyday life, or you’re worried that you may have a more serious allergy that you need to manage, our GPs will be able to help.

Our experienced doctors are available from 24 hours every day, they can visit in you at the comfort of your home and you can even talk them on on your phone, tablet or desktop computer .

Their first step will be to identify the allergy that you’re suffering from. If you don’t know what you’ve got, our doctors will ask you to describe your symptoms and use this information to figure out what the allergy could be.

From here, they can provide treatment or even advise ways to manage the allergy. In certain cases, you might be asked to refrain from consuming certain products that could be contributing to your allergy. If your symptoms don’t return, it’s likely that the product (or an ingredient within it) was the cause.

Of course, this isn’t always practical. For example, allergies such as hayfever and asthma can be caused by a reaction to airborne particles such as grass or pollen, neither of which are particularly easy to avoid. In this sort of situation, our doctors can prescribe or even administer medication if they have it, if not they will recommend medication that will help to deal with your symptoms.
